Refractors of Light
This worship service for January 25, 2026 was pre-recorded in advance on Friday, January 23, 2026 ahead of a major snow storm. We are grateful to be joining virtually with everyone as we continue in week 3 of our current lighthouse themed sermon series!
This week in particular, we are reflecting on the ways we are being called to refract God's light into the world, utilizing 2 Corinthians 3:7-4:7 as our primary Scripture passage. We pray that the light we refract, the ways God's light moves and bends through us, may be amplified and redirected in ways that are more stunning than the most eye-catching stained glass window and more beautiful than our snow-covered landscapes, with a bright light more far reaching than what the invention of the Fresnel lens in lighthouses made possible and a new covenant more glorious than anything that preceded it through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
